I can hardly believe I’m writing this… but I WON ESTHETICIAN OF THE YEAR! 🏆✨

This year alone, I spent 190 hours researching, working with clients, perfecting my protocols, diving into ingredients, and documenting every step of my case studies. I took on 7 case studies and (because I apparently can’t say no to a challenge 😆) jumped into a last-minute facial massage competition while I was there.

But what makes this moment even more surreal is looking at the journey that led here.

The Journey to This Moment

Over the last three years, I have competed in 19 categories, standing among hundreds of estheticians from around the world. In that time I’ve submitted 174 pages of case study write ups, 140 videos documenting the journey and spent nearly 400 hours of work on the case studies. Out of all of that, I’ve placed in the Top 3 an incredible 15 times—and now, I have the honor of being named Esthetician of the Year.

This is the biggest professional honor I could ever receive in the esthetic industry today. To be recognized at this level—among the most skilled, innovative, and passionate estheticians in the world—is something I will never take for granted.

Winning Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018 in Santa Cruz was an incredible moment in my journey, but this? This is something beyond. Because this wasn’t about business strategy or leadership—this was about the hands-on work, the science, the innovation, and the deep, transformative impact I strive for every single day in the treatment room. It’s about my passion and why I do what I do.

As a woman in business and a single mom, I’ve navigated the challenges of balancing career, family, and my unwavering dedication to this work. Winning on International Women’s Day felt like the most fitting full-circle moment—a reminder that when we show up for ourselves, for our passion, and for the people we serve, the impossible becomes possible.

This award isn’t just a professional milestone; it’s proof that perseverance, heart, and purpose pave the way for true transformation—not just in skincare, but in life.

While this is an incredible personal milestone, it’s also a win for our entire Yoso Wellness Spa community.

This honor reinforces that the work we do at Yoso isn’t just about beauty—it’s about true transformation, healing, and empowerment. It’s about combining results-driven treatments with a holistic approach that considers the entire body’s wellness, not just the skin’s surface.

The Skin Games: The Global Stage for Esthetics Excellence

At The Skin Games, estheticians from around the world showcase their best work, presenting case studies that push the boundaries of skin health and holistic transformation. This year, I had 35 judges from 5 different countries evaluating my case studies, results, and expertise.
